Full review

Camco awning tie down straps are purpose-built accessories designed to keep RV and camper awnings secure against wind, gusts, and unexpected weather while parked at a campsite. Made from durable, weather-resistant webbing material, these straps attach easily to the awning arm or rail and anchor down to a stake, ground anchor, or other fixed point, preventing the awning fabric and frame from flapping, billowing, or sustaining damage during breezy conditions. Their straightforward design makes them a practical addition to any camper's outdoor setup, offering peace of mind whether you're parked for an afternoon or settled in for an extended stay.

Each strap typically features sturdy buckles or adjustable clasps that allow campers to customize tension and length based on their specific awning size and ground conditions, ensuring a snug, reliable hold no matter the terrain. The webbing itself is constructed to resist UV rays, moisture, and general outdoor wear, so the straps hold up season after season without fraying or weakening. Camco, a trusted name in RV accessories, engineers these tie downs to complement their broader line of awning hardware, meaning they integrate smoothly with existing awning systems from various manufacturers without requiring complicated installation or specialized tools.

For RV owners and campers who value protecting their investment, Camco awning tie down straps serve as an affordable, lightweight solution that packs easily into a storage bin or outdoor gear bag when not in use. They're especially valuable during storms or high-wind advisories when an unsecured awning risks tearing away from its mounting or suffering structural damage to the arms and fabric. By incorporating these straps into a regular camping routine, RVers add an extra layer of security that extends the lifespan of their awning while allowing them to enjoy the outdoors with greater confidence, knowing their equipment is anchored safely against the elements.
