Full review

The Thetford Porta Potti 365 is a portable toilet purpose-built for RVs, campers, boats, and any mobile living space where a fixed bathroom simply isn't practical. This freestanding unit splits into two separate tanks: a top-mounted fresh water flush tank and a bottom waste holding tank, connected by a secure locking mechanism that keeps odors sealed in and allows the two halves to be separated for easy emptying and cleaning. The 365 model is distinguished by its manual piston pump flush system, which draws water from the upper tank and delivers a strong, consistent rinse with each push of the pump handle, ensuring the bowl stays clean trip after trip without relying on batteries or electrical hookups.

Built with the rugged outdoor lifestyle in mind, the Porta Potti 365 features a sturdy, residential-style seat and cover sized for full-size comfort, along with a tank capacity that comfortably serves a couple or small family over a weekend of camping before needing to be dumped. The waste tank includes a level indicator so users always know when it's time to empty, and the pour-out spout features a rotating, sealed cap design that directs waste cleanly into a dump station or sewer connection without splashback or mess. Thetford engineered the holding tank to resist odor permeation and staining, so the unit remains sanitary and pleasant to use even after repeated fill-and-dump cycles throughout a camping season.

Compact and lightweight compared to built-in RV bathroom systems, the Porta Potti 365 is easy to carry thanks to its molded carrying handle on the waste tank, making dump station visits straightforward even when the tank is full. It requires no plumbing, no black water tank installation, and no electrical connection, which makes it an ideal solution for pop-up campers, truck bed campers, teardrop trailers, converted vans, and tents alike. Campers and RV owners rely on this model for its simple, field-tested mechanics, its ability to function completely off-grid, and its reputation for durability, making the Thetford Porta Potti 365 a dependable, no-frills bathroom solution for life on the road or far from civilization.
